Community Health Leadership Award

The Community Health Leadership Award is offered to students who have made significant contributions to their communities through volunteer work or research. This award provides tuition assistance to students enrolling in Ross University School of Medicine’s MD program.

Initial Eligibility

  • Minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale – OR – minimum “old” MCAT score of 20 / “new” MCAT score of 490*
  • Evidence of prior volunteer or research work
  • Hold an undergraduate degree (equivalent to U.S. Bachelor’s Degree)
  • This award is open to incoming first-semester students only. Students do not need to apply for this award.

Award Amount

  • $7,500 - $15,000 awarded toward semester one tuition

Continued Eligibility

  • Must maintain full time enrollment status and remain in good academic standing.
