Mission Statement

The mission of the Ross Medical University Preparatory School is to provide a dynamic educational experience for children whose parents are faculty and/or medical students at the medical university. The curriculum is based on American curriculum and practices, and delivered by highly certified caring teachers who have a passion for student’s success, continuous learning, critical thinking, and collaborative, respectful relationships with students, families, and community. Our school promotes a safe, dynamic, respectful learning environment whereby the values of self discipline, responsibility, respect, compassion, cooperation, collaborative problem solving, creative expression, and global citizenship empower students to develop holistically, academically, socially, emotionally, physically.

Partnership with parents is essential to ensuring that students are provided with consistent, caring, supportive relationships to promote their learning and development.

An understanding heart is everything in a teacher, and cannot be esteemed highly enough. One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feeling. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child. (Carl Jung)
