Ross Campus Dean Gannady Raskin Appointed Dean of MERP


Gannady Raskin, MD has been appointed Dean of the Medical Education Review Program (MERP) in Freeport, Grand Bahama, and will leave his position as Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM).

Dr. Raskin served in his role as Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at RUSM for two and a half years. He played an important role in instituting the new integrated curriculum, the recruitment of several department chairs and administrative personnel, and the renovation of many facilities. He was also been a strong voice and leader for the new campus master plan.

MERP is a program, overseen by DeVry Medical International, that helps prepare aspiring medical students for the rigors and challenges of medical school. MERP is open to applicants to RUSM who have been granted conditional acceptance to RUSM and then referred to MERP.
