Ross University Signs New Articulation and Dual Degree Agreements

08/25/06

Edison, N.J.Ross University, a provider of medical and veterinary education, announced new articulation and dual degree agreements with three institutions of higher education. These enhanced relationships offer students who meet set standards in the agreements guaranteed early decision or early admission to Ross University School of Medicine or Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

The articulation agreements were signed with: Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on July 27, 2006; Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts on August 1, 2006; and Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington on August 15, 2006. The articulation agreements guarantee that all students who have completed their undergraduate junior year at the respected universities and have met or surpassed the academic criteria established in the agreement, will be granted early promise of acceptance and will attend Ross University the semester following their graduation.

The dual degree agreement (commonly known as a ¾ program), which was signed with Kings College, stipulates that any undergraduate junior who satisfies or surpasses set standards will be promised admission the following year at Ross University, with Kings College granting its baccalaureate degree to those students who successfully complete the first two academic semesters at Ross University.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome these fine institutions to the Ross University family,” said Dr. Thomas Shepherd, President of Ross University. “They join a growing roster of academic institutions across the country that have partnered with us to help educate some of the nation’s finest doctors and veterinarians. We look forward to building these relationships and expect to announce additional agreements in the near future.”
