Specialty: General Surgery
With her sights set on securing a General Surgery residency, this November 2019 Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) graduate and Air Force veteran is grateful for the opportunities ahead that, she notes, were made possible by RUSM.
“RUSM was my opportunity,” she said. “If it wasn’t for RUSM, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to gain my Medical Degree and now be a candidate for all these amazing surgical residencies I’ve been offered.”
When asked how it feels to have achieved her dream and be poised to begin residency, she noted that it’s all still a bit surreal. “I’ve had this picture of the initials ‘M.D.’ behind my name for a very long time,” she said. “To finally see that come to fruition is exciting – it’s awesome.”
