When Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) alum Ashleigh Burt, MD, ’18 was a teenager in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, she loved taking care of kids. It was no surprise that she became a volunteer for the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital neonatal intensive care unit. The experience of caring for premature babies strengthened her desire to learn more about children’s health.
