The RUSM LGBTQ+ Doctors Association Makes Strides in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
When third semester student Dannie Sieben, ’25 was accepted to Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM), he hoped that RUSM would be an inclusive and welcoming campus. Not only did he find that to be true, but Dannie had the opportunity to build solidarity for the LGBTQIA+ campus community in the form of an organization.
In a year of record competition between urology Match hopefuls, Mahir Maruf ’16 recently learned that he had secured a coveted residency position in his specialty of choice at Michigan Medical Center in the 2018 Urology Residency “Early” Match – an achievement he described as “just unbelievable.”
World Cancer day is an international day marked on February 4th, that aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness about cancer and to encourage prevention, detection and treatment.
Hundreds of Ross University School of Medicine graduates started residency training in July 2014. In the meantime, many of our graduates who are already deep in their training have earned the distinction of being named chief residents for the 2013-2014 year.
