Dinner with a Doctor in Kelowna

Your journey to becoming a doctor doesn’t have to start with having all the answers.

Sometimes, it starts with sitting down over a meal, meeting people who have been where you are, and asking the questions that have been on your mind.

Join us for a group dinner (our treat!) with other aspiring doctors and Ross Med alumni in your area. This is a chance to connect with practicing physicians who have been through our MD program, hear their stories, and get an inside look at what the journey can really be like.

Come curious. Leave with a little more clarity—and a few new connections.

Over dinner, you will:

• Hear what life as a Rossie is really like — from the rigors of the MD curriculum to clubs, activities, housing and everyday life in Barbados
• Get a feel for the journey beyond the island — including what it’s like to transition back to the U.S. or Canada for clinical training and practice
• Ask a member of our Admissions team questions that matter to you — whether you’re wondering about applying, interviewing, student life or what comes next
• Connect with doctors who have been in your shoes and learn from their experiences, challenges and successes

There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. This dinner is simply a place to start a conversation, explore your questions and get to know the community that could one day be your own.
