Biography
Dr. Mhawi spent more than 30 years in research and teaching histology and cell biology at different academic institutions (The Czech Academy of Sciences, The University of Western Ontario, University of Toronto, The University of Western Australia, Saba University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine). For his research, he applies transmission and scanning electron microscopy as well as confocal scanning fluorescent microscopy, tools that provide comprehensive understanding of the structure/function relationship in cells and tissues.
