Kashif Ahmad, MBBS, MSc, MSc (MEdL), PhD, is an educator with a progressive career in diverse business cultures including higher education, research, leadership and educational technology. A dynamic leader, he is an award-winning instructor and professor, and established author of numerous medical and scientific books, theses and articles including service as an international thesis evaluator.
Dr. Ahmad is a compassionate collaborator with a high degree of responsibility for quality, accuracy and implementing sound solutions for continuous improvement of educational institutions. He is adept at developing proactive strategies for thorough evaluation, rigorous academic and institutional success, expertise in student engagement, faculty development, educational innovation, and influential research.
Before joining RUSM, Dr. Ahmad held many reputable positions including serving as a professor with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine at the University of Illinois, a visiting research professor and course director, physiology, for the Department of Medical Information Science at the University of Illinois, a professor of basic and clinical sciences with Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota and a virtual adjunct professor for the Opus School of Business in Minnesota.
