School of Medicine Alumni Council

The Alumni Council is the governing body of the Ross University School of Medicine Alumni Association. The mission of the Alumni Association is to support Ross University School of Medicine in realizing its vision to be a premiere institution of academic health programs; provide advocacy and goodwill on behalf of the University within local, national and international medical communities and the public; and promote fellowship among the alumni, faculty, and students of the University.

The Alumni Council meets either in person or via teleconference on a quarterly basis, with additional communication as needed. The Office of Alumni Relations looks to the Alumni Council to share ideas representative of the entire alumni population, helping to shape our programs and initiatives in a way that will be beneficial to all alumni. Additionally, the Office of Alumni Relations encourages Alumni Council members to take the lead in participating in events and mentoring fellow alumni, current students, and prospective students. 

All graduates of Ross University School of Medicine are automatically considered members of the Alumni Association; membership on the Alumni Council is determined via annual election. Terms are three years in length and Council members can be reelected.
