It's the RUSM Alumni Awards, submit your nomination by February 28, 2025!
Annually, the RUSM Alumni Awards recognize the outstanding impact of graduates. Please nominate distinguished RUSM alumni for one of these awards:
The Alumni Legacy Award recognizes the success of an alumnus/a who has made significant contributions to his/her profession and industry while embodying the university's purpose, vision, and values.
The award recognizes those who have had extraordinary success in the following areas: professional achievement, community involvement, advancement of Ross University School of Medicine and its mission, giving back of time, talent, and/or capital, and encouraging and inspiring future leaders as well as contributions that have benefited the healthcare community and/or profession.
Award Criteria:
- Must be a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine.
- Display excellence in the healthcare field: clinical, diagnostic, public health, regulatory, and/or military service, etc.
- Attained professional, societal, or communal recognition.
- Be a strong advocate for RUSM.
The Alumni Resident Star Award recognizes a recent Ross University School of Medicine graduate who has achieved early career success while embodying the university’s purpose, vision, and values.
Award Criteria:
- Must be a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine within the last 0 – 10 years.
- Display accelerated career progression and advancement.
- Meaningfully contributed to the medical field: clinical, diagnostic, public health, regulatory, and/or military service.
- Attained professional, societal, or communal recognition.
- Be a strong advocate for RUSM.
AUC alumni play a critical role in the University’s continued success. From supporting admissions activities to engaging with students to rallying alumni support, our alumni impact all aspects of the student life cycle. We are proud to recognize those true ambassadors of AUC and give back to their alma mater in meaningful ways.
Award Criteria:
- Must be a graduate of AUC.
- Support and advocate on behalf of the University.
- Be highly engaged in AUC admissions, student life, and or and alumni programming.
- Nominees can self-nominate or be nominated by fellow alumni, RUSM faculty or RUSM staff.
- Nominees can be nominated for multiple awards but can only be selected for one.
- Nominees can be selected for a different award than the original nomination.
- Nominees must be positive advocates for RUSM and agree to share their stories and comments for the promotion of the Alumni Community and RUSM.
- Nominees must be alumni in "good standing" and cannot have been convicted of any felony.
- Nominations are open to graduates of RUSM
Nominations close 11:59 pm, February 28, 2025; award winners will be selected by the RUSM Alumni Board.
The mission of the RUSM Alumni Association is to support Ross University School of Medicine in realizing its vision to be a premiere institution of academic health programs.
The RUSM Alumni Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, a passion for RUSM and would make great ambassadors for the program following graduation.

RUSM Connect is a free networking and mentoring platform for alumni to cultivate meaningful connections within the RUSM community. Designed with the schedules of busy working physicians in mind, RUSM Connect gives alumni complete autonomy over their networking and mentoring relationships.

Siham Hagos
Alumni Relations Coordinator
Siham joined RUSM in 2015. In her primary role, she organizes Ross programs and events such as graduation, receptions, information seminars, reunions, and continuing education programs. Previously, Siham was a Student Services Advisor, engaging students through various outreach campaigns as well as helping them navigate their medical education. Siham is active in many charitable organizations and currently volunteers and serves as Board Chair at EMC. Her favorite pastimes include traveling, dining, and learning about different cultures.
