Q: Does the campus in Dominica have housing for students?
A:

RUSM has select on-campus housing options which are primarily reserved for first-semester students. The residences on campus are assigned on a “first come, first served” basis.

A housing database is available to assist students in identifying housing options, in which many are within walking distance of the campus.

A few on-campus apartments are available for students with special needs.

Q: Where can I find statistics and other information about crime at RUSM?
A:

Q: Can you describe health care services on the campus?
A:

The RUSM Health Clinic on campus is a level one ambulatory care facility offering a full range of medical services including management of acute and chronic medical conditions, preventative services, health education and counseling.

The clinic provides medical consultation for diagnosis and management of many common ambulatory care problems including, but not limited to, respiratory and other infections, abdominal pain, headache and musculoskeletal pain. We can also provide diagnosis and/or management of chronic conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes and asthma.

Q: What facilities and programs for personal fitness are available?
A:

The RUSM gym is complete with elliptical machines, treadmills, bikes, spin bikes, bench press stations, one squat rack, a full dumbbell set with adjustable benches, and more.

There is a room for small group classes as well as padded mats and aerobic steppers.

The bathrooms also have lockers and private showers. A filtered water fountain is located outside near the main entrance to the gym.

Q: What services are available to support students with children?
A:

There is an on-campus day care that provides services for children ages four and younger.

The preparatory school on campus provides a North American-based education for children in grades Pre-K through eight.

Q: Are there services to support the spouses of students?
A:

The RUSM Spouses Organization is very active on campus. The group plans trips for the spouse and companion community around the island as well as leads fundraisers for the local communities.
