From 9 am – 1 pm, RUSM faculty and students conducted free wellness exams to members of the St. Kitts community. Participants were screened for blood pressure, blood glucose, BMI, vision, heart and lungs and then received a health profile along with their results.
Additionally, RUSM provided general healthy living education services including, nutrition counseling and a fitness station. These clinics provide a great opportunity for RUSM students to give back to the community where they are currently studying, while also providing them with hands-on practical experience in patient care.
