In 2020, 91% of RUSM students passed the initial step of the United States Medical Licensing Examination® (USMLE®) on the first attempt. And in 2021-2022, results show yet another strong year for RUSM with a 95% first-time residency attainment rate thus far. Located on the island of Barbados and with a network of more than 15,000 alumni, RUSM is one of the largest providers of doctors for the U.S. healthcare system. RUSM graduates practice in all 50 states and in Puerto Rico.
Ross Grad Named to Editorial Board for Psychiatry Journal
Dr. Charoensook was one of the first four students to join the UCR SOM Psychiatry Residency Program in 2014.
Her responsibilities as a member of the editorial board include manuscript review and acceptance, peer review, brainstorming ideas, and more. Dr. Charoensook was raised in Los Angeles, Calif. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) in 2014.

Maguire, chair of the UCR SOM Psychiatry Residency Program. “It is truly remarkable that a resident in her first year of training has been named to this important academic position.
