AUC’s first-time residency attainment rate for 2024-2025 graduates and expected graduates is 95%. SABA’s four-year residency placement rate of 97% is calculated as the percent of students attaining a residency position out of all graduates or expected graduates in 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 who were active applicants in the NRMP match or attained a residency outside the NRMP match. As of July 17, 2025, they have not published their 2025 rates. SGU’s US residency placement rate of 94% pertains to graduates over five years from 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 with the rate calculated as the total number of students/graduates who obtained a US residency divided by the total number of students/graduates who applied to a US residency program in a given year as of April 2025.

Horizon Award
Up to $100,000 USD
This award offers a grant of a minimum of $35,000 over 10 semesters with a maximum scholarship possible of up to $100,000 by achieving key academic milestones throughout the MD program. To be considered, student must be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. with an MCAT score of 488 or better. Cannot be combined with other scholarships/grants.
Pioneer Award
Up to $80,000 USD
This award offers a grant of a minimum of $30,000 over 10 semesters with a maximum scholarship possible of up to $80,000 by achieving key academic milestones throughout the MD program. To be considered, student must be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. with an MCAT score of 485 or better. Cannot be combined with other scholarships/grants.
RUSM Origin Advancer Award
Up to $60,000 USD
This award was created to support and reward completing MedOrigin with a passing score and progressing into Ross Med MD Semester 1 coursework. The initial award offers a scholarship of up to $60,000 over 8 semesters by achieving key academic milestones through the MD program.
Medical Education Scholar Award
Up to $35,000 USD
The Medical Education Scholar Award is awarded to students who have excelled academically during the Medical Education Readiness Program (MERP). Total award amount of $17,000, $25,000, or $35,000 equally distributed over eight semesters, beginning with RUSM MD Program’s 3rd academic semester.
