Get ready to be “on-call” as you practice intubation techniques and use the simulation lab at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital and get a first-hand glimpse into the daily life of a med student during the clinical years! Join us for an on-site tour of one of our U.S.-based affiliate teaching hospitals and gain valuable insights into our MD program in addition to practicing medical techniques early!
Register to attend an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience and an interactive workshop, providing insights into the life and journey of pursuing an MD at Ross Med. This immersive in-person event will take place at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital, one of our esteemed affiliate hospitals, where many of our students spend their final two years completing clinical rotations.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Learn about our MD program, including our hands-on curriculum, admissions requirement-including how to participate in our Clinical Return Home program, community clinical experiences, and more
- Receive early exposure and start training on techniques used for incubating patients and learn how the simulation lab is used to teach, assess, and research- all with hands-on practice opportunities for everyone!
- Connect directly with local alumni and hear about their experience at Ross Med
- Tour California Hospital Medical Center and participate in hands-on immersive activities
- See clinical case presentations done by Ross Med students currently completing rotations Trinity Health Oakland Hospital
- Have your application materials reviewed by a member of our Admissions team
- Interview for provisional acceptance into our MD program*
- To interview for provisional acceptance, please bring a copy of all academic transcripts, MCAT scores (if applicable)**, personal statement, and resume or CV
- Offers will be made onsite by a member of Ross Med’s Admissions Committee
- Student evaluations will be done on a first-come-first-served basis

*Please note: Admissions evaluations will be conducted with eligible students interested in January 2025, May 2025 and September 2025 admission only. To be eligible for provisional acceptance review, eligible students must meet Ross Med's admissions requirements, including prerequisite course and MCAT completion (if applicable.)
**MCAT scores must be submitted by all U.S. Citizens, nationals, or eligible permanent resident applicants prior to the interview. International applicants are not required to submit MCAT scores, but strongly encouraged.
