Jessalyn Mayer, ME.d, earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, in 2010, and her Master of Arts in Education (ME.d) from Ashford University in Denver, Colorado, in 2013. She has worked in International Student Affairs and Academic Advising for the University of North Texas before relocating to Dominica to work in Student Affairs at Ross University School of Medicine. At the University of North Texas, she served as the Student Services Coordinator for the Intensive English Language Institute orientating international students and handling all programming for student services. While obtaining her master’s degree, she coordinated an after school literacy program in Denver, CO, with a local nonprofit in the Denver public school system, and has volunteered with Junior Achievement and Keep Denton Beautiful.
