Romeen Lavani is Associate Professor and Chair of Pediatrics at Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM). He was appointed to this role in May 2014. He has been a member of the faculty since 2010.
Dr. Lavani serves as Director of Resident Education and Director of Medical Student Education at Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He also a faculty in Pediatric critical Care at Comer Children's Hospital, University of Chicago. Dr. Lavani is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He holds board certifications with the American Board of Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.
Dr. Lavani received his medical degree in 1992 from Topiwala National Medical College. He completed his postgraduate education at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001, followed by a Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care and a Research Fellowship in Emergency Medicine.
