Sherriann Reid has extensive experience in ultrasound, cardiac sonography, simulation and the use of standardized patients. She started her medical career in 1994 when she received her Associates of Science degree in Cardiovascular Technology from Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, PA which included performing EKGs, Stress Tests, and Echocardiograms. She is a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She worked in hospitals and cardiology offices over the next twenty years. After moving to Dominica in 2014, she was a Standardized Patient and a Standardized Patient Trainer. In 2016, she became the Simulation Coordinator and has enjoyed her ever transforming career in medicine and education.
