Ross alumni are at the forefront of the healthcare industry, entrenching themselves in leadership positions and serving those in need all across the globe. Chances are, you have come across a fellow alum at some point in your career and didn’t even know it. ALUMNI AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
The Office of Alumni Relations is proud to offer constituents of RUSM with the opportunity to connect with our distinguished alumni population. Through this program, our alumni are able to inspire others in a variety of ways including sharing their own personal stories, offering insight on how to navigate the challenges of medical school and beyond, and providing advocacy for their fellow peers.
PEARLS OF WISDOM
Provide our incoming students or graduating class with words of encouragement and well wishes as they embark on the next phase of their medical journey. RUSM alumni have the opportunity to provide one piece of advice for medical school to 1st semester students to be included in the Alumni Association gifts at the White Coat Ceremony. On the other end of the medical school experience, alumni can provide one piece of advice for life after medical school for the graduating class to be distributed at the pre-commencement reception.
Alumni Legacy Scholarship
As a Ross Med graduate, you are a testament to our school’s mission: helping students become physicians. Now, you have a chance to help potential students achieve their dreams through the Alumni Legacy Scholarship. This financial award covers the full cost of a new Ross Med student’s first-semester tuition, or $24,170. To be eligible for this scholarship, potential students need to hold a current letter of admission to Ross Med and must present a compelling letter of recommendation from a Ross Med graduate.
Submit A Video
There are certain milestones during the course of a medical student’s educational experience that are unforgettable. Be a part of celebrating these moments (including New Student Orientation and Match Day) with RUSM’s student body by submitting a video. These submissions will be pooled together to create one video for each milestone. Guidelines for filming your video include:
- Keep to 20-60 seconds in length
- Hold your mobile device sideways to create a landscape video
- Clearly state your name and graduation year
- Offer a welcome or congratulatory message
Welcome the newest members of the RUSM family with words of encouragement and advice that will remain with them all throughout their medical education. Submissions will be played during New Student Orientation on campus.
Celebrate this milestone with our students by offering your congratulations and best wishes for the next chapter in their medical careers. Submissions will be shared with students at each of our Match Day Celebration events.
