Shamuel Yagudayev, MD '16 - Dr. Yagudayev published his fourth article. This article is a result of a clinical trial that looked at how Telehealth can affect transitions of care and readmission rates within 30 days of discharge from the hospital. As one of the principal investigators on this study, he utilized his public health and medical backgrounds to achieve success from the first stages of writing proposal for the study to submission of the article. He is very excited about the attention that Stony Brook Medicine has been giving to Telehealth, especially with expanding interest from other departments such as General Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry and Pediatrics.
