Andrew S. Venardi, M.D. '16 - has been named September Resident of the Month at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, announced Paulette S. Wehner, M.D., vice dean of graduate medical education at the school.

Aiga Charles, MD '06 - recently became Medical Chief of Staff for Twin Cities Community Hospital.
Deepak R. Vatti, M.D '13 - has been named St. Joseph Hospital’s Chief of Emergency Medicine.
Natasha Patel, MD '12 - joins Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center (CVRMC). Her most recent experience includes high risk obstetrics, Level IV NICU, gynecologic surgery, ambulatory and major procedures, and laparoscopic surgery.
Varun Bhatia M.D '17 - has been named Medical Director at Immediate Care Urgent Cares of NJ. Dr. Bhatia will oversee several locations and supervise APPs in his first job out of residency.
Sheldon Herbert, MD '18, Vadley Faugue, MD '19 and Miriam Onyegbula, MD '19 are part of the Phoebe Family Medicine Residency (PFMR) Class of 2023.
The residents will spend the next three years honing their medical skills in southwest Georgia. The hospital system said they will complete various specialty rotations as they train under a dedicated team of the community attending physicians.

Nick J. Paslidis, MD '88 - Dr. Paslidis named Chairman of the Board for ABQAURP. He spent several years as CEO and President of the Arkansas Quality Improvement Organization (prior PRO); managing over 800,000 Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries under CMS and Medicaid contracts statewide and regionally.

Lauren Stipp, MD '14 - Dr. Stipp accepted a sub-fellowship for Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the University of Florida.
Anita Krueger, MD '09 – Dr. Kruger has joined the department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Baylor Scott & White-All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Kruger has also become an assistant professor of surgery at the TCU/UNTHSC School of Medicine and recently accepted a leadership position with the Society of Thoracic Surgeons in the Workforce on Thoracic Surgery Resident Issues.
