  • Students who are accepted into the RUSM MD program and have met all requirements to secure enrollment through deposit or exemption (e.g., eligible partnership) for their place will be automatically considered for this award; students need not apply for this scholarship.
  • This award cannot be combined with other scholarships/grants unless specifically stated. RUSM reserves the right to modify the terms, conditions, and availability of institutional aid at any time and without prior notice. Scholarship availability will be evaluated each session.
  • Awards are limited to current open terms and will be granted to eligible students in the order seat deposits or exemptions are received, until all available awards are exhausted.

Initial Award
  • Students meeting these criteria will be reviewed for the scholarship and will initially qualify for $75,000, the minimum level of the Summit Award, structured as follows:

Continued Initial Award Eligibility

The escalators defined above are stackable with each other and with the initial scholarship award to produce a maximum award of $150,000.

Continued Academic Milestone (Escalator) Award Eligibility
  • Students on an approved absence may retain eligibility for the award and escalators subject to the discretion of the University Dean.
