Aldrin E. Sweeney, BSc (Hons); EdS; PhD

Biography
Dr. Aldrin E. Sweeney is Professor of Medical Education at Ross University School of Medicine. He received his PhD in Science Education from Florida State University in 1997, and has taught at institutions in the USA, the UK and the Caribbean. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Lecturer in Science/STEM Education; MPhil/PhD research supervisor; and Chief Editor of the Journal of Education and Development in the Caribbean at The University of the West Indies, Mona. His wide range of research and teaching interests include STEMM education policy in developing countries; the use of concept mapping in preclinical medical education (foundational biomedical sciences); biomedical ethics; public health policy in Latin America and the Caribbean; and nanoscale science and engineering education.
