Kwayne Farrell, MSc.

Biography
I am a Barbados Registered Counseling Psychologist. Prior to joining Ross University School of Medicine, I held positions of Addiction Counselor; Primary Stage Coordinator; and Continuing Care Coordinator of a Residential Mental Health and Addiction Rehabilitation Center.
I employ an eclectic approach to counselling, but utilize a client-centered approach as my core perspective. I work to establish and maintain a genuine therapeutic relationship with my clients. I also specialize in Experiential Techniques, which are useful for clients who struggle with expressing their emotions and unconscious processes.
I have used my training and experience to advocate and educate the public with regards to the importance of having good mental health by conducting several workshops and appearing on local radio and television shows.
